During two days the exposition of the exhibition demonstrated modern equipment, without which it is impossible to imagine home automation today. Actual control systems, electrical installation products, video surveillance, intercom, sensors and controllers, lighting control, climate control, biometrics, monitoring of engineering structures, software, dispatching - only a small part of solutions presented by key market players. Among the exhibitors are such companies as ALISA FROM JANDEX, Specialized Technology, ELTEKH, AMODS, CITRON, DAHUA TECHNOLOGY, DIGIHOUSE, DIHOUSE, EAE, EMBEDDED SYSTEMS RUS, GS LABS, HDL AUTOMATION, INTERRA, IRIDI, JETHOME, LARNITECH, RUNN, SEAWIN, SMART4, SMARTPORT, SMART ENGINEERING, LOXONE, TANTRON, URRI, WIREN BOARD, Z-WAVE. ME and others.
Within the framework of the business program of the exhibition-forum 5 conferences were held, reports were presented by 57 leading speakers. The speeches raised the issues of doing business in modern conditions, including import substitution, logistics of sanctioned goods, popularization of "smart" solutions among users.
The business part of the first day of HI-TECH BUILDING was opened by the conference "Smart House". Speakers discussed current trends in automation systems, technological solutions based on KNX devices, prospects for the development of the market of smart solutions, domestic developments in the field. According to Marat Mavlyutov, head of the Smart Home division of Yandex, a buyer of electronics often does not know whether a new purchased device will work in the ecosystem of his home. According to the speaker, this very doubt is a big problem for retailers, it is important to convey to users that the smart home is not just a fashion trend or a solution for geeks and technocrats, but a new standard.
Maxim Kupriyanov, Custom Install Development Manager of DIGIS Group of Companies, drew attention to energy saving and the fact that it is one of the main tasks of the hotel business. In his speech he presented a solution for climate control in the hotel business segment based on the Turkish brand EAE.
The main trends in the automation systems market were highlighted by Sergey Kostin, co-owner of HDL Automation Russia: cross-platform, use of applications and voice assistants for control, annual growth in the number of different devices for smart home control, built-in scenario control and the desire to save energy.
Andrei Nazarenko, CEO of Alef Elektro, noted that "Russian manufacturers are the new trend of the smart home". In his presentation he paid attention to Amods design switches, which are developed together with architectural and design bureaus to take into account the preferences of interior designers.
The focus of the strategic session on the second day of the exhibition - April 20 - was such an important topic as "Popularization of complex solutions of "smart home". The partner of the event was ANO "Smart MCD". The discussion was attended by Dmitry Sass, CEO of Embedded Systems Rus, Andrey Nazarenko, CEO of Alef Elektro /Amods, Sergey Kostin, co-owner of HDL Automation Russia, Alexander Romanov, technical director of IRidi, Ilya Lebedev, development director of "Laboratory of digitalization of housing", Alexander Khakhulin, production director of Ujin.
In his opening remarks, the moderator of the strategic session, General Director of ANO Smart MCD Nikita Utkin noted that the issue of implementing comprehensive smart home solutions is more relevant for the modern market than ever before: "There is a need to consolidate the efforts of the state and business in the field of digitalization of MCD and housing, in particular, the production of Russian equipment and promotion of Russian methods and technologies in the field of digitalization of housing".
In turn, Dmitry Sass drew attention to artificial restrictions on the inclusion of a brand in the ecosystem, which create difficulties for the installer - automation does not reduce the total cost of ownership of a building and for the mass introduction of smart housing it creates difficulties. It is unprofitable for management companies to hold tenders for the creation of such solutions.
Andrei Nazarenko suggested that the audience is already aware of automation: "Alice from Yandex served as a popularizer of the "smart home" in Russia. But after trying Alice, people will want faster and simpler wireless solutions".
Alexander Romanov emphasized that it is necessary to initially raise the question - how human life will change after the introduction of "smart" components. "This is popularization - to tell how a person's life will change in a "smart home". It is necessary to sell not the equipment, but the standard of living," he noted.
Alexander Khakhulin spoke about the popularization of smart homes on the example of Ujin's own devices: protection against leaks, remote disconnection of electrical appliances, access controller. Alexander Khakhulin noted that there are already emerging standards with the level of "smartness" that should be in the houses.
The business program of the HI-TECH BUILDING exhibition was completed by the Smart Design conference. The partner of the conference was the communication agency "ArchDialog". The focus of the Smart Design discussion was on the issues of establishing interaction between designers and suppliers of smart solutions, the possibility of integrating modern technologies into interior design projects.
Alexandra Kudryavtseva, head of Aleks Design studio, in her speech demonstrated style solutions that create wow-effects: rotary doors, Smart Glass, 3D printing, creating furniture, warm and dichroic glass, and absolute trends of recent years - black matte electric installation and custom electric installation.
Alexander Romanov, iRidi's technical director, presented to the conference audience how modular devices and sockets developed by the company can be applied in design solutions.
Design solutions for intercom systems, switches with oriental design of RASIM series made of copper and brass and switches with circular illumination were demonstrated in his report by Andrey Nazarenko, General Director of Alef Elektro/Amods, Daniil Nikshin, Technical Director of HDL Automation Russia, shared technical possibilities of glass panels of ITouch series and luminaires with light temperature protocol, which makes cooler lighting warm in the evening.
At the end of the conference, the head of construction project management company Foreman Ltd. Andrey Khrisanov told on concrete examples how the "smart house" is organized from the inside, and then invited all those present to take part in a tour of the exposition.
In 2023, after a break, the national HI-TECH BUILDING Awards were again held within the framework of the exhibition and forum. At the ceremony 13 best projects of installation companies on equipping residential real estate with "smart home" systems were awarded.
A pleasant surprise for exhibitors and guests of the exhibition was a new location of the event - an atmospheric Loft Hall on the bank of the Moskva River. The designer space with stylish interiors and a spacious terrace allowed to organically combine the exposition and conference parts, a networking zone, and to hold the award ceremony. Such collaboration and a busy schedule of the event contributed to the most productive work of all participants and visitors of the exhibition-forum.
The annual professional exhibition-forum HI-TECH BUILDING - one of the central events in Russia and the CIS in the field of building automation and smart home systems, was held this year for the 22nd time.
In 2024, the event will also take place in the spring.
